“In May 2022 we released Lavender Skies, Golden Plains at the Atlas Theater in Greeley, CO.
This record was so fun to write and record—it was truly an amalgamation of all the learning and myriad influences I found throughout my time in school. On it we go everywhere from piano trio to eight-piece ensemble with mandolin, playing everything from swing to choro. There are regimented chorale sections, prog-inspired guitar lines, free improvisation, and a tune dedicated to my favorite beverage. It’s a lot, but it’s also just music. I hope you dig it!”
